These Rolled Fibre Filters are made from highly flexible elasticised interwoven glass fibers, which are bonded at the edges, with plastic glue. With reducing fiber thickness the filter media becomes finer and denser towards the clean airside. These results in a deep dust storage and therefore increased dust storage capacity, which exceeds 2000[g/m2] filter area, with minimal operating pressure variations. To increase filter efficiency and dust storage dust arresting netting material is applied to the filter media. Filter rolls can be immediately fitted to roll filter systems as they are manufactured ready to fit therefore there is no need for any special tooling needed for fitment.
Type HS-Matic and HS-Kleen
To ensure easy fitment of filter rolls they are equipped with a guiding facility. The end of the roll is fitted with a piece of hardboard to enable technicians to remove the used filter roll without disturbing the settled dust or waste in the filter material. The Hs-Matic-Filter media is fitted to steel piping, which has discs on either side. The Hs-Kleen-filter media is fitted to a hardboard pipe.
Type HS-O-fil
New and used filter media is stored in robust disposable cartridges, which are almost waterproof and splash water resistant. This ensures an almost dust free filter change.
Type HS-Fibro
This type of filter media consists of synthetic fibers of varying thickness and reinforced on the clean airside. The material is fire resistant and not fitted with any netting material. The HS-Fibro-roll filter is delivered on a hardboard pipe with bush fittings.
HS-Ring Pak
Supply air filter for compressors or engines
HS-Ring Pak Ringfilters are designed for pre-filtrering the supply air of combustion engines, compressors and fans. The durable filtermedia consists of latex bound natural fibres.

Tube inlet filter HS-AirCone
Conical air filter for tubes and wall inlets
The HS-AirCone filter is suitable for all pipe or tube channel applications offering „safe-ends“. The filter can be fixed by using a T-piece and thus can be installed and replaced easily. Due to the conical shape of the filter it is offering a surface about 5 times greater than the plain diameter of the tube. HS-AirCone therefore reaches a much lower pressure drop and longer servie-lifetime in comparison to a flat filter or filterpad.

HS-Glasfibre Filter Pads

HS-Glas Fibre Pads: HS-Glas 1” and 2”
These standard filter mats are suitable ideally for climatic and ventilation systems they consist of flexible glass fibres, which are glued together with a synthetic resin on their corsslinks. The fibre density increases towards the clean air side and ensures thus a large dust storage capability. For more efficient dust extraction the fibre are coated with a dust-adhesive agent. This dust binder is non toxic.
HS-Glas Fibre Pads: HS-Glas-C
These high-quality filter mats are especially designed for strict air cleanliness requirements, e.g. as supply air filters for drying units or paint spray installations. According to the DIN 4012 this material is not flammable. The filter mat consists of the finest glass fibres, which are solidified in themselves to a fleece on the clean air side.
HS-Glas Fibre Pads: HS-PA
This special filtermat is used for high grade arrestance of paint mist in paint spraying cabins or paint shops. The HS-Glass fibre mat is made of a random pattern of thin glass fibres with a spring-like elasticity. The density of fibres increase progressively towards the clean air side, while the fibres becoming finer and finer within the media. Due to this specific structure a high storage capacity of paint particles is obtained in the 50 mm depth of the media. Under favourable conditions it is possible to hold more than 3500 g of paint-mist per sqm of filter area. The mat is not flammable as required by the DIN 4102-B1.
HS-Filtermedia for fine dusts
Filtermedia for fine dust filtration. Supplied as Rolls and Pad's.
These filter pads are applied in air conditioning or air ventilation equipment for increased perfomance levels as well as supply air filtration for surface finishig. After dust saturation these mats are simply replaced by new ones.
Standard roll dimensions are 20 x 20 m and cut pads can be supplied as required.
HS-Filtermedia for coarse dusts

Washable filter pads are used in air conditioning and air ventilation equipment, when regeneration of the mats after cleaning is required. HS-synthetic fibre filter pads consist of randomly arranged curled synthetic fibres in a multi-layered structure with a graduated density towards the clean air side of the media. Resin and/or thermal bonding provides for a high performance nonwoven fleece. Its engineered structural design has proven to guarantee longer life and high dust holding capacity with low differential pressure-loss in the most demanding applications. After dust saturation filter mats can be easily cleaned either by blowing or washing and be reused.
Standard roll dimensions are 20 x 2 m, pads of all sizes can be cut on order.
HS-Fogdrain

These filters serve for the removal of mists, fogs and filtration of wet aerosols and dusts. Air impurities arise in applicationssuch as tempering, cold-drawing, oil-grinding, CNC milling orl athing or die casting. These filter cassettes are self-draining, which means that condensing mists and oils are released bygravity. Therefore the filter needs to be installed either horizontal or in an angel of <=45°. By request we offer complete filterunits including frequency controlled fans. HS-Fogdrain filters are also suitable for oilfog and oilsmoke filtration when combined with HEPA and/or activated carbon filters.
The filter allows very long service lifetime thanks to the self-draining characteristic.

The released oils and aerosols mightbe filtered and recycled depending on the application and type of oil. HS-Fogdrain perfectly fit as replacement filter for absolentfiltersystems (i.e. ODF 1000, ODF 2000 etc.).

HS-Pak 55 PA are designed for filtration tasks with high concentrated air impurities, especialy for those with sticky or clogging attributes. HS-Pak 55 PA ideally fits as second stage filter for exhaust air treatment of canteen kitchens or high amounts of heavy dusts. Alternatively HS-Pak 35PA can be applied if coarse dusts with low oil- or grease compounts have to be filtered.The combination of different filtermedia in one filter offers the oppotunity of highly reduced space requirement for systems where pre- and mainfilter can not be installed as dedicated stages. The filter is manufactured in bag-filter style. The filtermedia is a compound of a highly progressive fibre media and an efficiency layer for smaller dust and aerosol particles. Hence the HS-Pak 55 PA achieve a much better dust saturation and thus offers an increased service lifetime especially at problematic processes.
HS-Grease Metalmesh Filters
Grease collectors and coendensing filters for fatty vapors, kitchen exhaust and process air.
HS-Grease metal grill filters are designed for the use in kitchens.Generally, when preparing meals or food fats are used and create unpleasant fatty steam and residue. When this fatty steam is extracted via the metal grill fat filters, the food fat remains on the metal grill (large cooling area) and the metal filter cells.
The filter cells consist of aluminium wire woven into robe like surfaces. This creates a large cooling surface with a relatively small airflow resistance.
This filter media is fitted in a solid aluminium frame, secured between two covering grills. The fat absorption achieved, depending on the thickness of the filter media, is between 90 - 99 %.
These fat metal grill filters can be manufactured and supplied to your specific requirements and are easily cleaned in most dishwashers.
Fat metal grill filters are available in galvanised sheeting, aluminium or stainless steel.
HS-Prefiltercell
Prefilter for safety housings such as i.e. HS-S041 or HS-Filtermobile.
HS-Prefiltercell: these serve als prefilters in HEPA-Channelhousings (i.e. HS-S041) and are availiable in classes EN 779:G4 to M5. The prefilter cells are especially designed for contamitation free filter change (save-change). They are completely incinreable to ease their disposal after use.

HS-Special Filter Panels, Type HS-GTU, -GTB and -GTA
These consist of different layers of very fine homogeneous glass fibre fleeces with reinforcement of the clean air side. They are non flammable complying with DIN 4102-B1.
HS-Special Filter Panels, Type HS-GT-1000 and -GTF1000
These Filtercells are made from different synthetic fibre high performance fleeces. They have a reinforcement on the clean air side. These filter cells are self extinguishing according to DIN 53 438. The assembly of the filter layers is adapted to the corresponding mounting frame, as follows:

HS-ACS Filter (coalescer)
Coalescer filter for absorbing water droplets and fog.
HS-ACS Filter is an Air Coalescing System, used for removal of moisture (i.e. humid fog) and various coarse dusts for supply air at industrial or power generation processes. It perfectly fits for first stage turbine air entry filtration, ideally with HS-Pak 55 and HS-Mikro Pak 95 as following filterstages.
HS-ACS Filter consists of a sturdy polypropylene frame containing a high efficient glass fibre pad. Air entry and air leaving sides offer a rigid polypropylene protection grid.
Fog and moisture will condense at the fibres of the progressive filtermedia. Optional drillings in the bottom ensure that fluids can be extracted and lead to appropiate collectors / waste water site.
HS-ACS Filter is especially designed for heavy duty application and areas with very high air humidity levels.
HS-Beta Pak
Compact & rigid finedustfilter, framedepth 48 - 150 mm
Robust finedustfilter for depths small as 48 mm and 96 mm (upon request 150 mm). Suited for Reconfiguration or replacement of AC units, substituting common Zig-Zag-pleated with a more hygienic filter. Also applicable at systems where actual filter efficiency is not enough (i.e. finedust problems in city-air).
HS-Beta Pak are robust fine dust filters, employed as preliminary or main filters when long filter service lives are required in large and/or variab- le volume flows. Typical areas of application are electronics and computer rooms, pharmaceutical production areas, research laboratories, hospitals, industrial ventilation and preliminary filtration for particulate air filters. They fit in all standard fra- mesystems or mounting frames of various manuf- acturers for particulate air filters, according to the design variant. They are suitable for use as replace- ment filters in all standard commercially available mounting frames. Due their small depth HS-Beta Pak save space in new constructed ventilation systems.
These filters are also great space savers when existing venti- lationssystems need to be rigged up for higher filter classes. The sturdy plastic frame fulfills the demands for high rigidity and hygiene combined with the ease of disposal since the filters are com- pletely metalfree and thus fully incinreable.
Pleatfilter HS-Alpha Pak 35 and HS-Alpha Pak 55
Pre- and mainfilter with rigid plastic frame and maximum filtersurface.
These compact filtercells serve as prefilter for HVAC systems and Turbines offering maximum filtration abilities at minimal dimensions. HS-Alpha Pak´s greates benefits is the compact construction with frame depths of 48 and 96 [mm], the outstanding dust holding capacity, maximized filter surface as well as hygienic design. HS-Alpha Pak are availiabe in two different filterclasses (EN779: G4 and M5). The frame of HS-Alpha Pak is made of rigit extruded polystyrene profiles with edge connectors. This guarantees optimal hygienic as well as stability and also ensures easy disposal because the whole filter can be incinerated.
The high quality synthetic filter media offers deep-filtration effects thus archieving higher dust holding capacities than similar products from other manufacturers. It is pleated to self-supporting folds that are fixed by plastic spacers offering even more rigidity.
HS-Alpha Pak can also serve as pre-filters for turbine air intakes.
Panel Filter HS-Z-50 and HS-Z-100
Panel filter with Z-pleated synthetic media and cardboard frame. Used in HVAC, Ventilation & heavy machinery.
Filter for air conditioning and ventilating equipment. The pleated high performance filter fleece is self supporting. Therefore this Filtercell absolut free of any metal and fully combustibly which makes the disposal easy. This arrangement is held together with a rigid card board frame.
Type HS-Z-100 can optionally be fittet with a glass fibre pad HS-Glas 2". This mat assures a pre-arrestance of coarse dust to provide a longer service life for the filter cell. The synthetic fibre cells can be delivered in most standard sizes and in special dimensions, on request. For stability reasons the length of one side should not exceed 610mm.
Panel Filter HS-Glas Z 1" and HS-Glas Z 2"

HS-Pak 55 Extreme & HS-Pak 65 Extreme
Energy saving bagfilter for turbomaschinery and surface technology. Offers Rigid welded pockets sealed to a metal-pu-foam frame.
HS-Pak 55 Extreme and HS-Pak 65 Exntreme are bag filter designed for the use at demanding process technic such as turbomachinery, gasturbines or surface technologies and industrial painting cabins. HS-Pak 65 Extreme are used as high performance prefilters and main stage filters. The filterconstruction offers robust welded, self supporting filterpockets. The pocket separators are welded by advanced welding technology to the pockets to guarantee optimal saturation of the given filtersurface and ensure best pressure drops even with variing airflows. The single filterpockets are securely sealed in a leak proof hard foam frame supported by a rigid inner metal construction. The air entry of the frame is aerodynamically designed to reduce turbulences and to reduce the pressure loss.

This range of high quality HS-Bag filters is fitted with additional parallel seams sewn in the individual bag filters, ensuring even air flow through the unit at the same time guaranteeing the efficient use of the filter by evenly distributing the stored dust or waste. This extends the life span of the filter and reduces the energy cost for the airflow through the filter. On the clean airside the bag filters are fitted with an additional felt type material in order to achieve a greater stability and to handle larger airflow volumes.

HS Bagfilter HS-Pak25, HS-Pak 35 (coarse dust)

this range of HS-bag filters have spacers inserted in the individual bags, ensuring even air flow throughout the entire filter unit and at the same time evenly distributing the store dust. This extends the lifespan of the filter and reduces energy costs due to the lower pressure. Another advantage is the constant filter efficiency even with varying airflow. These bag filters stand on their own frames and therefore do not need to be secured. With oversize bag filters the surrounding frame is reinforced with angles in the corners of the frame.

HS-AirSynErgy: Energy Saving Filter
Energy saving filter - offers longer service intervals with lower pressure drop. Saves up to 30% of your energy costs.
The product family HS-AirSynErgy is a bagfilter based on synthetics that reflects the highest technology standard is in regards to mechanical effiicency combined with long service lifetime and therefore a better energy saving potential. HS-AirSynErgy's performance is superior over usual glas- and common synthetic bag filters.
Paralel, tapered separarors in the bags of this high quality Filters ensure a stable air guiding form that allows an even airflow within the filter. Therefore all bags are evenly saturated with dust and particles. HS-AirSynErgy is different from other bag filters. The filtermedia offers a special inner wave structure that thus offers double active filtersurface by only consuming the space of a conventional filter. Combined with the air guiding profiles in at the air entry HS-AirSynErgy achieves up to 35% less pressure dop in comparison to common bag filters. This saves the user up to 1100 kW/h operational energy (equals approx. 620g CO2/p.a.).
The media structure with the enlarged inner surface offers an expicit higher dust loading capacity of up to +80%. This allows a much higher service lifetime without taking any drawback with the energy consumption compared with usual bag filters. HS-AirSynErgy is not requireing any electrostatics for the norm approved operation. A steady rise of the efficiency is ensured over the complete service lifetime. The filter fulfills the EN779:2012 requirements at any time.
Easy to notice: The cross section illustrates that the waved structure offers a much larger filtration surface in the same dimensions as usual flat media
As can be seen here, the elongated version of the waved media is twice as large as the common non-waved version. This lowers the pressure drop for filters and gives the user the maximum dust holding capacity.
The filtermedia of the HS-AirSynErgy series consists only of fully synthetic materials. The fibres are flexible and break-proved so a displeasing fibreshedding as seen with glassfibre bag filters while unpacking and handling is absolutely impossible.

HS-V-Pak GT 90 Pulse filters are designed to upgrade existing self cleaning intake filter systems. Their design fits smoothly for common intelt air filtration systems at gas turbines. Advanced media processing machines allow us to install the latest developments on pulse cleaning filter medias. The sturdy steel framework is corrosion protected by expoxy coating encapsulating the media packs. The filtermedia is consiting from fully synthetic bico media, containing no cellulose for maximum moisture resistance, low pressure drop, highest rigidiry and superior dust release while pulsing. HS-V-PAK GT90 also offer an optimzied fold geometrys compared to the classic product. The Filtermedia ist evenly distanced in full depth of the filtermedia and fixated by sturdy gluelines. Instead of four over-the- top gluelines HS-V-PAK GT 90 Pulse offer one stablilizationstring every 25 mm over the whole surface. That allows a perfect aspect ratio between fold entry and depth of a mediafold. This brings pressure drop furtherly down, allow highly improved dust release and more energy efficiency at pulse cleaning and operation.
HS-Strongshield 95 F-EX
Dedustable safety filter for maxium stress loads, ATEX conform
HS-Strongshield Filters offer the maximum security at processes with high hazard risk potentials. The groundbreaking HS-Strongshield filter technology provides a superior media tensile strength up to 400% higher than usual glass media. Different to usual Filters the HS-Strongshield filtermedia is armored by rigid layers of polyester. This ensures that HS-Strongshield filters offer an unmatched safety at extreme conditions such as high moisture, shock pressures, accident failures of pre-filterstages, presence of explosive atmospheres etc.. The air entry side of the filters is metalized and conductive to depleat any electrical potentials that can cause ignitions by grounding connectors on the filter. Hence HS-Strongshield filters ideally suit the safety needs of processes in ATEX areas. No additional protective grids are required due to the robust media structure.
HS-Strongshield filters are dedustable by typical pulsejet or blast systems.
HS-Makro FV-HT
High temperature compact filter for maximum air flow
These filters are designed for high temperature processes and are used for supply and exhaust air purification. They are for example used in the range of drying ovens, sterilization equipment, hot gas venting etc. The pleated filter medium of these filters is fixed by glass fiber spacers. The filter medium is mounted between protective grills made ​​of stainless steel (1.4301) and protected against shedding by a glass-fibre nonwoven. The design allows operating temperatures up to 350 °C for HS-Makro F-HT. If necessary, these filters can also be supplied ATEX compliant. HS-Makro F-HT are sealed with fiberglass and are therefore completely silicone free. A glassfibre cord serves as gasket.
HS-Makro F-HT

These filters are designed for high temperature processes and are used for supply and exhaust air purification. They are for example used in the range of drying ovens, sterilization equipment, hot gas venting etc. The pleated filter medium of these filters is fixed by glass fiber spacers. The filter medium is mounted between protective grills made ​​of stainless steel (1.4301) and protected against shedding by a glass-fibre nonwoven. The design allows operating temperatures up to 350 °C for HS-Makro F-HT. If necessary, these filters can also be supplied ATEX compliant. HS-Makro F-HT are sealed with fiberglass and are therefore completely silicone free. A glassfibre cord serves as gasket.
HS-ECO Pak
Space saving compact filter for pre- and mainfiltration for HVAC and ventilation tasks.
Slim and environmentally friendly design for high efficiency
Airflow volumes up to 3600 [m³/h] with only 100 [mm] or 150 [mm] depth required.
HS-ECO Pak filters are mostly used with air-conditioning, ventilation for fine dust filtration. The filters are used as pre- and / or main filters for suspended matters and general dust pollution. They are especially suited for use in conditions for handling large airflow volumes and achieve long service life times due to their large dust storage capacity.
HS-ECO Pak filters fit most standard supporting frames from various manufacturers. The filtermedia consists of a ultra fine glass fibre paper with varying thickness and filter efficiencies. Thermpoplastic threads are used as spacers between the densly and tightly packed individual media folds, to achieve even spacing.
Its design and construction provides a high rigidity. The filter media is water repellant and also suitable for use in conditions with highes humidity levels. A temporary increase of the pressure drop is normal. With reduced humidity the pressure drop returns to normal levels.
HS-ECO Pak filters can be fitted with the clean-air or dust side inside or outside, and are great space savers when used in new systems due to their minimal mounting depths. Options like protection grids or gaskets are availiable upon request.
HS-Makro
High performance filters for industrial applications i.e. process air, pharmacy, surface technology etc.
This durable fine dust filter is suitable as pre- or main-filtration element in systems where relatively high volumes as well as variable airflows is typical. Areas of use include pre-filtration of airborne particles, as filter for industrial processing, or in hospitals, and computing centers. The high-quality media is laid is narrow parallel pleads, and fixed evenly by spacers made from corrugated aluminum foil – these make it possible to use the filter in high temperature environments up to 350 °C, electrical grounding of the filter, and provide a maximum of bust protection . Profiled spacers with seamed edges provide the filter package with extra stability.
HS-Makro filters are silicon-free as a standard, and can therefore be employed for surface technologies.
Due to our flexible manufacturing process we can fit the filter into mounting frames by all major brands. Upon request HS-Makro Filters can be supplied with FDA conform design.

Due to our flexible manufacturing process we can fit the filter into mounting frames by all major brands. The media is laid in narrow pleads, and fixed evenly by thermoplastic spacers. Single filter packages are placed into the mounting frame forming a V-shape. This design allows maximum filter surface within comparably small filters. Various customized specifications are possible.This filtertype might optionally be fitted with special heat resistant thermoplastic spacers for temperature ranges of up to 120°C. Ultraslim compact filter cell with install depth of only 48 - 150 mm.
HS-Beta Pak are robust finedustfilter for depths small as 48 mm and 96 mm by request up to 150 mm. Suited for Reconfiguration or replacement of AC units, substituting common Zig-Zag-pleated with a more hygienic filter. Also applicable at systems where actual filter efficiency is not enough (i.e. finedust problems in city-air).
HS-Beta Pak are robust fine dust filters, employed as preliminary or main filters when long filter service lives are required in large and/or variab- le volume flows. Typical areas of application are electronics and computer rooms, pharmaceutical production areas, research laboratories, hospitals, industrial ventilation and preliminary filtration for particulate air filters. They fit in all standard fra- mesystems or mounting frames of various manuf- acturers for particulate air filters, according to the design variant. They are suitable for use as replace- ment filters in all standard commercially available mounting frames. Due their small depth HS-Beta Pak save space in new constructed ventilation systems.
These filters are also great space savers when existing venti- lationssystems need to be rigged up for higher filter classes. The plastic components of HS-Mikro Pak 4V ECONERGY consist of up to 60% renewable raw materials to also improve the CO2 balance of this consumer product. Unlike other resource-saving compact filter solutions, HS-Mikro Pak ECONERGY does not pose any risks in terms of efficiency or tightness. The robust plastic frame is corrosion-free and allows easy disposal, as the filter is fully incinerable and will emit 90% less fossil CO2 when incinerated after usage.

HS-Mikro Pak
Energy saving V-Form Rigid compact filter used in HVAC, Ventilation and turbomachinery such as turbines.
High performance compact filters are available in three filter classes.
Airflow volumes up to 5000 [m³/h] with only 292[mm] installment depth required.
HS-Mikro Pak filters are mostly used at air conditioning, ventilation and turbine applications for fine dust filtration. These filters are used as primary and/or main filters to prevent toxic gas, aerosol and general dust pollution. They are especially suited for for handling large airflow volumes and achieve long service life times due to their large dust storage capacity.HS-Mikro Pak filters fit most standard supporting frames from various manufacturers. The filtermedia consits of high quality glass fibre paper with varying efficiencies. Thermoplastic spacers between tightly packed individual filter folds, ensure even spacing. The supporting frame is made form plastic and therefore makes disposal easy because the complete filter could be reduced to ash, once burned.
The design and construction of the HS-Mikro Pak provides a high rigidity and corrosion is impossible. The filter media is water resistant and also suitable for use in conditions with high humidity. A temporary increase in the of the pressure drop is normal. With reduced humidity the pressure drop returns to normal levels.
HS-Mikro Pak filters can be fitted with the clean-air or dust side and are great space savers when used in new systems due to their minimal mounting depths. Options like foamed gasktes or burst protection gills on the clean air side are possible - please ask for special applications.

The groundbreaking HS-Strongshield filter technology provides a superior media tensile strength up to 400% higher than usual glass media. Different to usual Filters the HS-Strongshield filtermedia is armored by rigid layers of polyester. This ensures that HS-Strongshield filters offer an unmatched safety at extreme conditions such as high moisture, shock pressures, accident failures of pre-filterstages, presence of explosive atmospheres etc.. The air entry side of the filters is metalized and conductive to depleat any electrical potentials that can cause ignitions by grounding connectors on the filter. HS Mikroseal JG-S can be applied anywhere in systems where small form factors are required at moderate volume flows. The filter cartridge does not require a separate housing and can host on/in the usual pipes and tanks. The standardized 1"-thread connector allows fast and simple fixation. The filtermedia is protected by a corrosionresistant stainless steel frame and thereby protected from external influences. The corpus is gastight sealed and allows operation within pressurized ductworks up to +- 300 mbar.
Among the numerous applications, these filters essentially serve as pressure relief filters at security relevant filter housings (eg HS-S041, HS-Securesorb) or to have controlled air exchange with pipes and tanks.

HS-Amosorb - Ammoniafilter
Compact ionexchanger for radical NH3 elimination.
HS-Amosorb is specially designed for the filtration of ammonia from air flows. This filter has an approximately 5-fold higher efficiency against gaseous ammonia than comparable solutions based on activated carbon. Due to the construction HS Amosorb reaches an approximately 60-90% lower pressure drop as solutions based upon activated carbon of similar size. In addition to these advantages, HS Amosorb is also very air flow tolerant - even at 30% overload operation!
HS Amosorb reached its outstanding efficiency through the use of micro-ion exchangers, which are laminated to a carrier fleece. The chemical reaction of ammonia gas with the ion exchangers is spontaneous. In this respect, the apparent contact time (and thereby the airspees) of the gas plays a minor role with the filter medium.HS-Luftfilterbau offers mobile filterunits with HS-Amosorb Filter. These mobiles filters meet the requirements for mainenance tasks on HVAC Units and chillers that operate with Ammonia (NH3) as cooling agent.
HS-Carbopad activated carbon filter
Activated carbon filter with textile frame for special applications at supply air treatment i.e. for museum air or with pharmaceutical processes.
HS-Carbopad filterpads are employed in special air treatment units especially for museums. The pads consist of synthetic filterfleece that securely surrounds the activated carbon chambers. Differen carbons could be employed for equipping the pad. The most common used carbon is for the reduction of SO2 concentrations in the supply air. The flexible design allows a fitting without bypasses.
HS-Carbopanel PB
Flat panel adsorbtion filter for odor- and gasfiltration used in exhaust air (i.e. kitchen), exhaustion and machinery corrosion protection.
HS-Carbopanel PB filters are used for filtration of odors, hydrocarbon compounds (VOC's) or other gaseous or molecular air pollutants. The design combines the benefit of small sizes with the advantage of the adsorbtion capability of loose carbon beds. HS-Carbopanel PB can be adapted to the needs of your processes. The size is up to a maximum edge length of 650 mm. The activated carbon can be selected according to the emission spectra for optimal performance. HS-Carbo Pak² FAK combines secure filtration ability for particles (i.e. finedusts such as pollen, spores etc.) and gaseous air impurities (i.e. tobaco smoke fumes, hamful gases emitted by city traffic). The standardunit offers a combination of EN779:F7 and aprox. 7kg activated carbon. HS-Carbo Pak² FAK is ideally suited to upgrade existing filtration soltion by gas-phase filtration without requirering changes in the filterhousings.

HS-A055 Activated Carbon Panel Cell

This active coal card filter is used to absorb unpleasant odors like kitchen-, tobacco- chemical- and body odors, as well as gaseous pollutants, mainly carbon hydrates. The main applications are in ventilation and air-extraction systems.

HS-Carbon-Change-Cell A053
Safetyfilter serving as rechargeable retainer for activated carbon to be used in safety relevant applications.
Activated charcoal change cell are used for the high-grade adsorption of gaseous and smell-intensive pollutions in ventilation and exhaust air systems. The cell is suitable for the separation of radioactive iodine (iodine connections), as well as for nuclear applications and installations for the destruction of chemical weapons.
Specification:
The compact filter is manufactured from stainless steel (grade 1.40301). The active coal layer is secured with precision welded sheeting with punched wholes. The special feature of this filter is the automatic adjustment of the pressure of coal layers by the use of tensioned sheeting. This prevents leakage of airflow. With the help of an easy to remove service lid the removal of used and replacement of new coal granules is quick and simple. We can also re-furbish used cartridges on our premises.
HS-AKP Tank adaptor for Carbon Cartridges

The HS-APK Tank adaptor is designed to offer a filtration solution for tanks containing volatile liquids. Tanks may emit smells or harmful gases constantly or with change of the filling level. Such gases / smells can or must be eliminated with activated carbon. HS-AKP tank adaptor allows the easy connection of one or more carbon cartridges (such as HS-AKP 26) with any tank or pipe and thus ensure a secure restraining of hazadrous outgassings. The adaptor is directly connected by flanges to any revision outlet or fuel tank venting installation. The system could be offered alternatively as pipe-connector housing, to be flanged right between two pipe ends.
The tank adaptor can be easily added to any existing installation.

Activated carbon cartridges are used for the absorption of gaseous or odor intensive pollutants with ventilation and extraction systems. The basic unit consists of a base-frame (610 x 610 mm) and 16 single cylindrical cartridges filled with activated charcoal. According to required airflow volumes several units can be fitted to a filter wall. The cartridges are manufactured either from metal sheeting or stainless steel. We can also re-furbish used cartridges on our premises.
HS-Clean Pro
Granulate used for the filtration of odors and for gasfiltration respectively destruction by oxidation. Especially suited for the filtration of H2S and SO2 filtration.
HS-Clean Pro is a chemisorbtive granulate wich serves as replacement or in addition to HS-Activated Carbon. HS-Clean Pro offers favorable adsorbtion abilities against various organic gases.
We reccomend it's use in addition to activated carbon at processes where H2S, SO2 or other organic / smell intensive agents, i.e. amino acids or formaldehyde must be removed from the air flow.
HS-Clean Pro is manufactured from high prosity activated alumina granules which is impregnated with potassium permanganate (KMNO4). The potassium permanganate serves as oxidizing agent to destroy, inactivate or converse problematic gases and odors.
HS-Activated Carbons
Activated carbon for gas- and odor filtration. Availiable as bag- or bulk goods.
HS-Luftfilterbau supplies Activated Carbone in shaped and pulverised format. The granule size of shape and corn coal ranges between 0.6 and 6.3 mm, according to it’s application, pulverised activated charcoal has a granule size of <0,075mm. This activated charcoal is manufactured from various raw materials, compost, coconutshells or sugar. This is achieved either by burning, or special treatment procedures to achieve a substantial enlargement in the “outer” and “inner” surface.
Through this process the finest porous surfaces and the finest capillary systems are created, which increases the absorbent surfaces up to 1700 m²/g. This in turn results in excellent filter efficiency and dust storage capacity and enables a long life span and high capacity of the active coal filters. Basic rules with the use of active carbon:
- with increasing virtual contact with the active carbon or larger amounts of coal being used, the efficiency of the coal used is increased.
- For the absorption of special pollutants impregnated active coal is used.
- The air temperature of the flowing air shall not exceed 50ºC as from this temperature onwards some of the pollutants will be released by the coal. Any materials to be filtered have to absorbable. (Refer to table).
- Active coal is very sensitive towards dust, and therefore it is recommended to use high quality and efficient dust filters as a primary filters for non-gaseous pollutions.
- The basic rule: any gas molecules, which have more than three non-hydrogen atoms, are easy to absorb.

HS-Pipefilter
Duct housing with compact dimensions for pipelines and confined spaces
HS-Pipefilters are particularly suitable for low air flows at limited space conditions. They are used for the filtration of dusts, particles, odours and harmful gases.
This housing type consists of 1.5 mm welded stainless steel (1.4301 optionally also 1.4404 or 14571). The special housings can be equipped with activated carbon cartridges HS-AKP 26 from 250 to 600 mm (HS-AKP intermediate tube adapter) as well as HS-V-Pak (HS-V-P intermediate tube adapter) in various filter classes from fine dust and particulate air filters up to class EN 1822 H14.
The system can be equipped with flange connections or welding pipe sockets in existing systems and ensures effective elimination of odours and pollutants either for the supply and/or exhaust air. A laterally mounted inspection cover allows the filter to be changed without loosening the flange or pipe connections.

HS-Sandtrap
Coarse dust and sand filter
HS-Sand Trap is designed to separate and settle out sand and granulated coarse dust prior to filtration and air filtration systems. The filters are equipped to meet demands for filtration units in deserts and regions with high winds. They prevent coarse particles from entering the ventilation system and eliminate premature depletion of other static filters. Sand and coarse particle are discharged into a chamber at the lower side of the grid. During assembly, observe the correct fitting position of the filtration unit.
Filter efficiency:
80 % of particles and sand grains with a size of 20 to 50 μm
65 % of particles and sand grains with a size of 1 to 70 μm
The geometrical construction of the precipitation grid is perfectly suited to meet demanding applications by using computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
The grid is made from either aluminum or stainless steel; the frame is constructed from galvanized steel sheets and extruded aluminum profiles. The separation grid is always followed by static filters as a second stage, which may either contain pocket filter, panel filters or metal mesh filters. HS-Sand Trap Filters are designed related to their individual requirements.
HS-Securesorb
Safety filter system for removal of particles and toxic gases at high air flow rates.
HS-Securesorb Activated Carbon adsorbers are designed for the filtration of high air volumes of 5000 up to 15.000 m³/h. They are employed for the secure removal of gaseous and / or toxic air impurities. The whole filterhousing is made from high grade stainless steel. All filter stages can be changed contamination free by Safe Change (Bi-Bo, Bag-In-Bag-Out).

HS-S-041 safe change security filter housing
Safety filterhousing for particle and gas filtration offering Bag-In-Bag-Out filterchange.
HS-S041 filterhousings are manufactured from airtight welded stainless steel. Filters are fixed by a stainless steel two-lever entralised pressure system and leaf springs. Optional equipment i.e.: a seal leak proof grove, aluminium twin grooved service board for safe change (Bi-Bo, bag-in-bag-out), adapter housings or flanges and or foot pedestal. Multistage housings are also available.

V-Type channel housing for mounting of filter pads, panel filters and metal mesh filters.
Solid channel housing made from galvanised sheeting with a removable side panel for servicing of filter units. The configuration is from the left or from the right according to the airflow direction. The filter inserts are secured in v-shape configured mounting frames between the supporting grills and mounting clips. This design also allows the use of filter cells.
HS-Ceiling outlet
Ceiling outlet for air supply of particle free sterile air or tubulent mix air supply.
This product serves as device for supplying sterile air free of particle and germs. This diffuser outlet for turbulent air supply is used within laboratories, hospitals, or cleanrooms. A circulatory closed false ceiling-connection will be customarily designed. The dimensions are also customizable. The absolute airtight manufactured housing is non-corrosive and easy to decontaminate. Welded retaining plates make installation easy. The outlet will be securely fastened by centered brackets, which are easily removed for filter exchange or surface scanning. The Ceiling Outlet meets requirements according to DIN 196, VDI 2083, EN 14644-1 as well as cleanroom regulations according to 91/536/EWG-GMP. Due to the fact the casing is entirely welded, no sealing compound is needed.

HS-S045 HEPA Wall Frame
Filterwall for mounting EPA and HEPA filters.
Rigid supporting frames for filter wall or fitment in machines are manufactured from airtight welded aluminium profiles. The outer frame, made from angle profiles, provides a surrounding frame for safe fitment, which ensures safe sealing with the frame body. Supporting angles and a spindle press system assures exact fitment and proper sealing of the filter insert.
HS-Panelfilter Wall Frame V-type HS-Z034
Panelfilter wall for panel filters, pads and mesh filters type HS-Z34 (V-form) for higher flow rates.
This filter wall consists of the filter-wall frame, the surrounding support frame (where required) and individual supporting frames. With the use of filter matting inserts, supporting grills and frames for the filtermats are fitted. For modular fitting, an angle frame is supplied.
Duct Filter Housing for Bagfilters HS-T022
Rigid duct filter housing for ventilation tasks
Sturdy duct housing made of 1.5 mm galvanised sheet steel with side service door for filter replacement. The door can be arranged either on the left or right, in relation to the direction of air flow.
The housing frame with the wide sealing surfaces is also the connection frame for connection units and air ducts. In addition to the sizes available as standard, the duct housings can be manufactured in any housing dimension for optimum adaptation to the conditions at the installation location. The filters are mounted and fastened using mounting frames. The duct housings are supplied completely assembled in all unit sizes. For larger volume flows, two units are combined next to each other. The service doors for the filter change are then arranged on the right and left.
The circumferential 30, 40 or 50 mm connection flange can be drilled on site to allow easy connection to common ducts. In addition, any transition pieces, e.g. to rectangular or round ducts, can be offered.
HS-Wall Filter System Type HS-T021
Modular configurateable filterwall for channel or duct installation.
This filter wall consists of individual supporting frames and the filter-wall frame, and, if required, reinforced sheeting can be fitted. It is designed for dust and clean-air sided operations and, according to the specific task, will be fitted with module or micro pack filter inserts with varying filter efficiencies and volumes, as required.
HS-4N mounting frame for finedust and HEPA filters

HS-4N mounting frames ideally suit for building filterwalls for highly efficient particle filtration. Single mounting frames can be fitted like modules to estrablish a wall installation. Clamping elements in each corner of the mounting frame ensure an even pressure on the installed filter. Each mounting frame comes with 4 clamping elements. All weldseams are glas blasted for corrosion protection. HS-4N-Frames can be optinonally equiped with a leaktest pipe to ensure tight seat of the filter by putting the groove gasket (gasket with tight seat test ablility) of the filter under pressure. The tight seat of the filter is validated by monitoring the leak rate over the gasket.The mounting system supports worldwide standard HEPA sizes.
HS-Mounting Frame for Bag- and Compact Filters

Rigid mounting frames manufactured from galvanised sheeting or stainless steel fitted with a glued seal. Filter inserts are secured with a tensioning system, which ensures proper centralised fitment of the filter insert. Standard frames are manufactured to standard size, which allow exact and safe fitment in modular sections to any filter wall system.
HS-HomeAir
Filterupgrade for MVHR Systems, private home filtration
HS-HomeAir is a standardized, easy-to-install upgrade solution for residential ventilation that provides maximum air quality at cleanroom level through a multi-stage filter system.
HS-HomeAir has an intelligent pressure control system that supports existing systems in overcoming the additional filter resistances. In contrast to existing systems, filters with the highest separation performance can thus also be operated without any problems. HS-HomeAir delivers only as much air as the existing MVHR unit requires. This means that usually no changes need to be made to the settings of the existing system during installation and energy consumption remains as low as possible.
HS-HomeAir can be equipped with different filter types in order to offer perfect protection against pollen, odours, smokes, pesticides or even chemical or even radiological air pollution. The filter mount and sealing of the filters comply with the standards appropriate for the protection of hazardous substances. Due to the larger filter surfaces, the design of the filters allows a much longer service life than with the usually filters of the existing MVHR units.

The HS-Solid CAT channel housing meets your performance requirements in all ductwork requiring the highest standards of air purity. The modular concept allows cost-effective adaptation to the needs of your process conditions. The housing can serve from a simple one-stage filter up to multi stage HEPA and gas/odor filtersystem for safety relevant applications. If required an adjustable fan can be integrated to the design.
HS-Solid CAT housings are made of welded stainless steel (type 1.4301 or 1.4404 / 14571). HS-Solid CAT can be fitted with any combinations of coarse and fine dust filters as well as HEPA's up to EN 1822 Class H14. Even the inclusion of molecular filters is provided. The HS-Vario CAT programme is the solution for your tasks in air filtration. The modular design allows to meet the requirement of most different fields of applications. HS-Airifyre 6000
mobile, highly efficient recirculating air cleaning for hygienic or dusty areas
HS-Airifyre 6000 is a mobile high performance air purifier for effective separation of aerosols, particles, dusts and microorganisms (e.g. Sars-Cov-2). HS-Airifyre 6000 is designed to drastically minimize microbial contamination (mold spores, bacteria or viruses) in food processing operations to protect health and products. Likewise, HS-Airifyer 6000 can be used in industrial areas to reduce fine dust (e.g. construction dust, asbestos, pigments, packaging, paper, wood & plastic processing) and particulate fractions from smoking (e.g. welding fumes, tobacco) as well as to filter oily aerosols.
The easy-to-disinfect filter is made of either powder-coated sheet steel or stainless steel 1.4301. It offers space for two filter stages each (ISO ePM1 70% and EN 1822 H14) via the two inflow zones. In addition, the design meets the hygiene requirements for room air conditioning systems in accordance with VDI 6022. The LED signal display shows the operating status and the degree of loading of the filters.
The two controllable EC fans deliver a total volume flow of up to 6000 m³/h with a filter performance >99.995% @ MPPS (most penetrating particle size: approx. 0.1 - 0.3µm). This means that particles <0.1µm and >0.3µm are separated with much higher efficiencies. This also includes Sars-Cov-2 viruses. The system offers four Ø315mm closable ports with Jacob flare for air distribution.
All components are free of problematic substances such as EDC's (bisphenol-A), DEHP, DINP, DIDO and other phthalates as well as formaldehyde.

HS-Mobile filters are available in 4 sizes and various configurations:
Mobile Filters Type F1 und F2
Where gases, dust or aerosols have to be filtered, the most suitable filters to use are the highly effective Active Coal Cells combined with a pre dust filter module. Electric heating elements are used to reduce the humidity in order to increase the efficiency of the active coal filters.

Mobile Filters Type F3 und F4
Where only dust or aerosols have to be filtered, active coal filters and electric heating elements are not required. Due to the higher airflow capacity of dust filters compared to the active coal filters the airflow speed can increase to twice the speed of the above configuration, at the same basic conditions as above. This will reduce the time required substantially.

Housing Configurations : Primary Filter, HEPA and activated carbon filters are individually equipped with a service panel safely sealed by a special profile gasket and tightly secured by 4 star handle screws. Any openings are equipped with an aluminium twin groove service cover. This ensures a contamination-free replacement of filter cells by using service bags during the filter replacement.
The reasonably sized service covers are at the same time used to secure the service bags. The stainless steel two-lever pressure system consists of a closed robust profile steel frame which works via accentors and leaf springs by applying pressure against the filter interests, and in this way becomes self-adjusting for safe operation. This way any give in the seal or compressed filter cells is automatically adjusted. The design of this system only allows the service panel to be closed, and an exact fit is achieved. This design has been used to prevent operating mistakes. Welded safety panels prevent, even with severe shocks and vibrations, the service panels from coming lose. In addition each dust and active coal filter is fitted with a seal leakage monitoring system of the filter inserts, according to DIN1946- part 4. It is also possible
to achieve leakage monitoring during operation of the unit. Acrylic Pressure Gauges always display exact pressure difference of the filter inserts. The measuring lines are precision fitted 1.4301 stainless steel pipes.

HS-X-Screw

Filterchanges of big filter units may require to losen and re-fit 400 - 600 starscrews. Doing this by hand whilst wearing full protection can be very longsome and exhausting. When using our HS-X-Screw dill adapter this work is done much more relaxed in a fraction of the usual time.

HS-Sealing Tool
Tool used for the secure welding of maintenance bags at Bag-In-Bag-Out / safe change.
Filters have to be replaced when the suggested end pressure has been reached. Depending on the application, due to toxic or hazardous substances contamination free filter replacement is essential. To ensure contamination free filter exchange we recommend the use of the bag-sealing tool in conjunction with a mobile, height adjustable HS-Service trolley.
HS-Differential Pressure Transmitter
Transmitter for measuring and transmitting pressure differences
The HS-Differential Pressure Transmitter (HS-DPT) detects the differential, positive and negative pressure between the two pressure inputs and converts the measured value into a linear or square-root output signal of 0(4)...20 mA or 0...10 V. In this way, an
statement can be made about the degree of loading of filters and transmitted, for example, to a control system or control station. The converter is offered in three variants (see below).
Thanks to ATEX approval, use in dust-laden and potentially explosive environments is possible without any problems.
HS-Leak Test Device
Test equipment used for approval of a bypass free filter installation.
The use of leakage testers provides additional safety when replacing filters. With help of the HS-Leakage Tester combined with a leakage monitoring grove correct and leak free fitting of filter media is guaranteed.
HS-Fogtester

For changing filters at safety relevant systems it is reccomended to perform a leak test with HEPA filters either after installation or just before mounting. Beside the usual particle measures with optical or CPC counters there's also the option to perform an oil fog test according to EN1822-4 to prove the integrity of the filter.
HS-Luftfilterbau GmbH offers a mobile and robust testsystem which gives reliable results. The HS-Fogtester consists of a rigid stainless corpuis and easy to handle oilfognenerators. The fog is generated from parafinoil and has a major particle concentration at 0,2 - 0,5 µm. The fog is pressed throgh the filter by compressed air. A special lightsource is provided with the tester to iluminate and visualize penetrating particles against a contrast surface in the back of the tester.
All leakages of HEPA filters in EN1822 classes H13 and H14 can be detected by this method quick and securely.
Filters of lower classes such as finedust and EPA filters can't be tested successfully due to their high penetration rate. This test should not be used for filters of classes of EN 1822 U15 and higher.
This testsystem requires in opposition to ususal particlecounters extremely low maintenance, is very robust and is not required to be calibrated.
Probesampler for Activated Carbon

The HS-Probesampler is used for sampling activated carbon and other sorbent bulk beds. Regular laboratory monitoring is required for safety-relevant sorbtion applications such as the exhaust air filtration of radioactive or highly toxic gases. The HS-Probesampler made of stainless steel 1.4301 allows piercing even in tightly compacted pouring beds. It is therefore ideally suited for sampling powders, granulates and broken carbons.
